Terms for using gamtax.co.uk.
These terms govern use of the public website, including the pricing calculator. They do not replace a letter of engagement or terms agreed for professional accountancy or tax services.
1. About this website
This website is operated for GAM Tax and Accounting Services. It provides general information about the practice, service descriptions, indicative pricing and ways to make an enquiry. Business and regulatory information is available on our Business & Regulatory Information page.
You may use the site for lawful personal or business purposes. We may update, suspend or withdraw pages or features for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
2. Prices and calculator estimates
Published prices described as “from”, ranges, monthly payment views and calculator totals are indicative. The calculator applies the selections you enter to the current GAM Tax price list; it does not assess every fact that can affect the work.
An estimate is not a binding quotation, offer, tax calculation or guarantee. Final fees, scope, responsibilities, timescales and payment arrangements are confirmed after relevant records and circumstances have been reviewed. Prices are exclusive of VAT where VAT is applicable.
3. No professional engagement is created online
Browsing the site, using the calculator, sending an email/WhatsApp message or submitting an enquiry does not create an accountant-client relationship and does not make GAM Tax responsible for any filing, payment, registration or appeal deadline.
Professional services begin only when GAM Tax has agreed to act, required client onboarding and identity/compliance checks have been completed, and the applicable engagement terms and scope have been accepted. GAM Tax may decline an engagement where it cannot lawfully or professionally act.
Where a customer has statutory consumer cancellation or other mandatory rights in relation to a professional-services contract, these website terms do not remove those rights. Any service-specific cancellation information should be provided with the engagement/onboarding documentation where applicable.
4. Accuracy of information
We take reasonable care when preparing website content, but tax rates, filing requirements, thresholds, deadlines and guidance can change. Content is general information and may not reflect a change immediately. Check current rules and obtain advice tailored to your circumstances before making a material decision.
5. Acceptable use
You must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the site, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, scrape or overload the site in a way that disrupts normal operation, impersonate another person, or use forms to submit unlawful, abusive or misleading material.
You are responsible for ensuring information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have authority to provide personal information about another person.
6. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website design, written content, calculator interface, graphics and GAM Tax branding are owned by or licensed to the website operator. You may view, print or save reasonable extracts for your own reference. You must not copy, republish, sell, frame, systematically extract or commercially exploit substantial parts without permission or another lawful basis.
7. External links and third-party services
Links to HMRC, Companies House, the ICO, WhatsApp and other third-party sites/services are provided for convenience. Those services are operated independently and their own terms and privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their availability, security or content.
8. Liability and statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to those protections, GAM Tax is not responsible for losses caused solely by reliance on general website information instead of advice tailored to your circumstances, by inaccurate information you supply, or by interruptions or third-party systems outside reasonable control. Any liability arising from professional services is governed by the separate engagement terms for those services.
9. Privacy, communications and complaints
Use of personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy. Cookies and browser storage are explained in the Cookie Policy. Email and WhatsApp are not guaranteed to be secure or continuously available, so sensitive records should be sent using an agreed secure method.
Service concerns can be raised under our Complaints Procedure. Concerns about personal information have a separate Data Protection Complaints Procedure.
10. Changes, governing law and contact
We may amend these website terms when the site, services or law changes. The review date above identifies the current version. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause deprives a consumer of mandatory rights or jurisdiction protections that apply to them.
Questions about these terms or the website can be sent to info@gamtax.co.uk.
