Making GAM Tax easier to use for everyone.
We want people to be able to use this website regardless of device, input method or disability. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of maintaining the site rather than a one-off claim of perfection.
1. Our accessibility goal
GAM Tax is a private-sector service provider. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a practical accessibility benchmark and aim to make reasonable adjustments where needed. The public-sector accessibility regulations are not the basis on which this statement claims compliance.
2. Accessibility measures built into the site
- semantic page headings and landmarks;
- keyboard-operable navigation, buttons, accordions and calculator controls;
- visible keyboard focus styles;
- form labels, instructions and validation messages;
- responsive layouts intended to work across phones, tablets and desktop screens;
- text that can be enlarged using browser zoom without relying on fixed desktop-only layouts;
- information that does not rely on colour alone; and
- reduced-motion support for visitors who request it through their device/browser settings.
3. Using and adapting the website
You can normally enlarge the page using browser zoom, navigate interactive elements with the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, activate controls with the keyboard and use the pricing calculator without a mouse. Browser and operating-system accessibility tools can also change text size, colours, contrast and speech settings.
If zooming or changing text size causes a specific problem, please tell us which page and device/browser you were using.
4. Known limitations and third-party content
The website has not been independently audited against every WCAG 2.2 success criterion, so we do not claim full conformance. Third-party services opened from the website, including WhatsApp and external government/regulatory websites, are outside GAM Tax's control and may have their own accessibility limitations.
Documents supplied by clients or third parties may not always be accessible in their original form. If GAM Tax publishes PDFs or other downloadable documents in future, accessibility should be reviewed when those documents are added.
5. Requesting an adjustment or reporting a barrier
If you cannot access information, need a reasonable alternative format, or encounter a barrier, contact info@gamtax.co.uk or 07581 058703. Tell us the page or information you need and, if you know it, the adjustment or format that would help.
For a technical accessibility problem, it is useful to include the page address, what you were trying to do, your device/browser and any assistive technology being used. We will review reported barriers and aim to make proportionate improvements.
6. Review of this statement
Accessibility should be rechecked after significant theme, plugin, calculator or content changes. The review date above identifies when this statement was last reviewed.
